Dummie the Mummy and the Tomb of Achnetut

What it is:

Dummy de Mummie is a VFX-heavy kids’ film based on the Dutch book with the same name, written by Tosca Menten.

The third installment in the series, The Tomb of Achnetoet, is set in Egypt and has the characters go through a series of booby-trapped, maze-like structures within the ancient pyramids.

Naturally, most of these settings are created almost entirely using CGI. Most notably, the outside shots in the desert are all filmed inside a studio set, and surrounded by Europe’s largest greenscreen.

Some fun things I worked on include sending the main characters down an ancient tobogan, creating a mythical but realistic desert background, and numerous greenscreen shots.
