Microlearnings are short-form e-learning courses that are the perfect way to freshen up after a longer security awareness campaign, or just as a reminder. They usually consist of a single video which summarises the subject in less than 2 minutes.
This bite-sized format comes with its own challenge of keeping the information digestible, but still including all the important points, as well as keeping the video engaging and fun.
These are two of my favourite microlearnings: “Step out of the Shadows” on the subject of Shadow IT, and “P@ssw0rd1” on the safe and correct use of passwords.
